The Croatian Music Center in cooperation with the Zagreb Tourist Board as part of the Advent in Zagreb event presented a music program called Zagreb Advent Postcards where the vocal quartet Vox performed famous Advent and Christmas songs of Croatian and world musical heritage. Through the concept of so-called pop-up concerts within the period from November 29th to December 29th, 2021, the quartet held a total of 24 half-hour performances in 12 days at well-known frequented locations in the center of Zagreb – Oktogon, Sisters Baković and Neboder passages. Visitors could hear numerous songs in German, English and French, as well as songs in Croatian and Latin. Many visitors followed the program in its entirety, and the children showed special interest by listening carefully and enjoying the Advent and Christmas songs. The number of foreign nationals was also noticeable.

The main motto of the programme on which the idea of the HGC is based is: “Let’s listen to Croatian music!”
