In the church of St. John the Baptist at Nova Ves in Zagreb, an Easter concert performed by the Projekt Lazarus ensemble was held on Easter Monday, April 18th, 2022. In addition to famous Croatian Easter songs, the program also featured pearls of Croatian sacred early baroque music, so the audience could enjoy motets of Croatian composers – Vinko Jelić, Ivan Lukačić and Ivan Šibenčanin. This concert was organized by the Croatian Music Center with the help of the parish of St. John the Baptist in Nova Ves, and the concert was a gift from the Zagreb Tourist Board to its citizens and all of classical music devotees.
The main motto of the programme on which the idea of the HGC is based is: “Let’s listen to Croatian music!”
